Ways to Help
Often citizens are willing to help a political candidate, but unsure how to do so. Here are some suggestions that you might consider. Some require physical strength, some require various skills. We hope that you will find something that matches your abilities and interests--and lend your hand. And for those unable to offer any assistance, we do hope you will vote.
Display a Bumper Sticker
Place a bumper sticker on your bumper or on the back window, either high or low where it won't obstruct your view.
Display a Yard Sign
Yard signs can be placed 45 days prior to an election (primary or general), then must be removed after the election.
Deliver and/or Pick Up Yard Signs
Hopefully those of you who deliver the yard signs will also pick them up, because you'll know where to find them.
Help at the Campaign Office
Data entry, handling of reports and forms, answering phones, responding to emails and letters in a timely manner with appropriate information, stuffing envelopes, folding letters, and adding stamps--we welcome help with all of these jobs.
Make Telephone Calls
We can supply the office and the telephone, but we can always use more help in making calls.
Write Letters to the Editor
If you enjoy writing, this may be your niche.
Host a House Party
Introduce Frank Kratovil to your friends and neighbors by hosting a "Meet and Greet" or a full party. We'll help you make the arrangements.
Senior Outreach
Are you a member of a group or organization with an upcoming event, meeting, or activity where you would be willing to introduce Frank Kratovil? If so, give us a call or send an email.
Help on Election Day
Observers are needed at all the polls, as well as supporters to hand out information. You might also check on friends and neighbors to be sure they have transportation to and from the polls.
Anything
Join us in a "wave" along the highway, walk in a parade, distribute literature, help scout billboard locations, or attend an event. Just let us know you want to help. But most important of all--be sure to vote!
